Freelance design
This is a small selection of my recent freelance work, which has taken many forms including identity design, web design, packaging design, and more. I enjoy working on small scale projects that help develop the brands of small businesses, and look forward to working on more projects of this nature in the future.
LITTLE DOG RECORDING STUDIO
Little Dog Recording Studio is a small scale recording studio that seeks to serve anyone with an interest in audio recording. LDRS has a lot of character and has been built around the studio owner’s own little dog, Bo. The logo brings the character of the studio to its visual identity, focusing on Bo with a reference to the RCA dog Nipper built in for music history fans.
APRIL OTTEY JEWELRY
April Ottey Jewelry is a nature-inspired fine art jewelry artist. Using a field-notebook-inspired botanical illustration style I designed more than 30 cards to correspond with various botanical pieces used in April’s work, and to be packaged with each piece of jewelry. I also helped implement her new logo across her packaging, including creating such materials as a small booklet to include with orders and a patterned tissue paper to wrap jewelry in.
SPOONDRIFT COLLECTIVE
Spoondrift Collective is a land art and interactive art group. The brief for the logo was to create an abstract image that visualized the process of creative ideation. The idea was to show the tidal give and take, or back and forth, of the creative process.
